This is a new version of my attempt to list all the education bloggers based in, or from, the UK. There may still be mistakes, but I have added many blogs that weren’t there before and removed many that shouldn’t be there. I have attempted to leave out all blogs that haven’t been updated in the last 6 months. I have missed out ones that are probably more to do with journalism than blogging. I have missed out one because of ethical issues (don’t ask).
Responsibility for mistakes is all mine but I have to thank the following Twitter people for invaluable help: @eyebeams, @emc2andallthat, @diankenny, @mathsjem, @_rhi_rhi, @bekblayton, @ramtopsgrum, @Just_Maths, @5N_Afzal, @Mr_Bunker_edu, and @annaworth. Apologies if I missed anyone off of that, I was overwhelmed with offers of help. Let me know if I’ve missed you out. Also please let me know about any errors in the list, particularly any bloggers I’ve missed out.
I hope to make available the spreadsheet I used to create the list, so people can number, sort or enhance the list to their heart’s content, but I will probably wait a few weeks so any corrections can be done.
Pedants do not need to point out that you cannot have a later version of an “ultimate” list. Sometimes there are two versions of the same blog, or two blogs with the same name, so please check before assuming I have repeated myself. At least one American blog is included because the author is currently in the UK.
The blogs are listed in alphabetical order (but with those that start with numbers or other non-alphabetical characters) at the end. The names are those given by the blog feed, not necessarily the name that appears at the top of the blog when you read it.

List of Educational blogs
This is a great list, thanks – I’m planning to highlight some interesting blogs on my blog for students. Can I suggest my colleague’s blog http://mypad.northampton.ac.uk/richardrosebangalore/ focused on Inclusion and international issues, my blog for teaching assistants http://mypad.northampton.ac.uk/fdlt2012/ and our steAm project blog http://mypad.northampton.ac.uk/inspire/
Great list! Could you add us – http://www.speechbloguk.com We are speech therapists not teachers but we blog about education.
Reblogged this on Evidence into practice.
Great list, I’ve got >100 Scottish Edubloggers aggregated (with permission): http://scotedublogs.org & listed: http://scotedublogs.org/contributors/ which might be useful(I’ve not cross checked). I wonder if FeedWordPress could handle >800 feeds for a uKEdubloggers aggregation?
I think I went through your list about a month ago. But tell me if any have appeared since then. Not familiar with aggregation on wordpress. Please tell me more.
FeedWordPress is a plugin that will aggregate posts from different blogs into one blog. This is how ScotEduBlogs works, folk submit their blogs, I add the rss feed and the blogs are aggregated. It is setup so that the links lead back to the original articles. I am not sure how FWP would deal with 800 feeds, the 100 we pull in in ScotEduBlogs is fine but more might overload the server (I don’t know). You need, of course, a self-hosted wordpresss install to be able to add the plugin.
This all sounds way beyond my level of understanding or resources. But if anyone wants to set it up I’m happy to hand over the list of feeds.
Can I offer my blog for future inclusion?
A Maths Teacher Writes http://www.amathsteacherwrites.co.uk/
As the name suggests, I blog predominately about maths, but it may be of interest to all teachers.
As a reference, I have also written for the TES.
Many thanks
A Maths Teacher
Hi, great list…although, my blog (A Point of Contact) has no connection with the UK (I’m form and based in Canada). I’m not sure if that matters to you, but thought I would point it out.
Thanks 🙂
Thanks for telling me. Don’t know how it got through. Will remove from later versions.

Pingback: ORRsome blog posts from the week that was Week 43 | high heels and high notes
I’ve started blogging on earth science (geology, climate change, astronomy, so far) aiming to keep things simple http://rockyrexscience.blogspot.co.uk/ You might like to add Rocky Rex’s Science Stuff.
That seems to be a blog about science, not education.
