Reflecting English

A couple of weeks ago my blog reached 50,000 views after eight months of blogging. I have been genuinely shocked that so many people have taken the time to read my hapless scribblings. A huge thank you for your support.

The posts I have been most pleased with have been the ones on writing. The reason is simple: they have had the most effect on the students I  teach. I will cautiously assert that I think I am a better teacher of writing than I once was and that the thinking that has gone into the writing of these blogposts has been the agent of change.
