Nothing to see here?

Outside looking in

I’m too busy to write this properly, so this is not so much a blog as a book mark I’d like to share – just in case anyone else is having similar “hold on a minute” thoughts…Apologies for lack of style, grammar, or in depth analysis. All of those may come in time (assuming I can find any…)

In the last fortnight I’ve been to listen to Prof John Holman talking about assessment in practical science (http://www.cambridgeassessment.org.uk/insights/assessment-of-practical-work/). And we’ve just had the publication of the Royal Society’s report into science education for the future (https://royalsociety.org/~/media/education/policy/vision/reports/vision-full-report-20140625.pdf). One I was at, and loved bits of whilst finding other bits made me want to bang my head against a wall. The other I’m going to have to read properly on a train sometime in the next week or so, not having got past the executive summary.
