New OFSTED orthodoxies: Triple Marking – Icing on the Cake – An education blog

Sir Michael Wilshaw, in his speech to the ASCL earlier this year, made it clear that, ‘Ofsted does not have a preferred teaching style. Inspectors are interested in the impact of teaching on learning, progress and outcomes.’ Despite this, OFSTED Inspectors continue to clearly demonstrate that they have very specific expectations of written work and feedback, and a very definite ‘preferred teaching style.’
