I was forced to write this retrospective. Forced by the BLOG police of the Twittersphere ™.

I wrote my first blog in January. It came after a great night out in the Highbury Vaults (Lovely Bristol pub) arguing with a nuclear scientist about quantum theory or something. These nights out with fellow head teachers were to become a theme throughout the year. A much needed escape where we each relayed our woes and fears over increasingly later nights. I realised quickly, over the year, that being a head teacher was far more comical, stressful and irrational than I had ever thought before. So on reflection these were my main events.
