500 excited teachers. 400 teachers on the waiting list for tickets. A choice of some fabulous speakers from both the teaching and research worlds. ResearchEd2013 was a conference with a focus unlike any other I had been too, and there is clearly a desire amongst the teaching community to explore the relationship between teaching and research beyond twitter conversations. Apologies for any gaps in my notes, this is more a flavour of the day, rather than a total picture.
