It’s been over two weeks since I last wrote. I meant to keep this blog up to date so I think I’ll make the entries shorter and more regular… So, here is the last long post.
It’s the beginning of the third week of Summer Institute, our six week training period. It’s been a hectic two weeks, packed with visits to schools, masterclasses on all sorts of topics including behaviour management and lesson planning, micro-teaching sessions where we taught our peers, drinks in the evening sunshine and salsa dancing!
When we arrived on Sunday 23 June, I felt a little overwhelmed. There was a long queue to collect our keys and a great mass of papers and folders, and everyone seemed to have made friends already. It was like the first day of University and I felt a little lost! My good intentions of going through the folders…
