Should I be worried?

Emotional. I’ve only been in the school five bloody days and I’m emotional about leaving the place. I began to remember names, to recognise faces and I was beginning to be recognised. I broke up a fight with a clearing of my throat. I legitimately yearned for a cup of tea.  I got a high five from a passing Year 7  (Pre-Hi5 – child was called LittleFucker. Now called SuperAwesomeChild).

Even the teachers were beginning to know me; I was graced more smiles and nods in the corridors and they laughed at my jokes in the tea and banter room (staffroom). I was told to keep in touch with them all and I lost count of the amount of e-mail addressed I was given…
